I’m really enjoying reading how Clint and Jacqueline developed a caring work relationship and a genuine trust. I did read “Five Presidents” first and then “Five Days in November”, so I read Clint’s books in reverse order but I am pleased to see there is more here that was not in the following two books.

Quite chilling to read the details of Baby Patrick’s birth and death, Jackie’s deep depression, a revitalizing trip to Greece and Morocco, followed by time at Atoka in Middleburg and the Scottish Black Watch Regiment’s Pipers and Band performance on the South Lawn of the White House. Such highs and lows leading to the trip that she had such reservations on attending…and for good reason as fate would have it. Clint’s accounts of these times are so detailed based on the copious notes he took as an agent. It truly makes you feel as though you are there experiencing what he and Jackie did…before everything changed.
