You almost can't go wrong with anything written by Nathaniel Philbrick. I've read several books on Little Big Horn....& this is definitely one of the better ones.

I agree 100%...this is my sixth book by Philbrick. Enjoyed his trilogy on the American Revolution very much (especially the middle volume focusing on Benedict Arnold ).
