This book is making me so angry!

It sucks that there are a white knight moments, but at the same time I'm so glad there was since she can't seem to save herself.

No one is going with their gut. Devonte is full of shit and not one person sees it?! I'm so pissed bc I didn't go to an HBCU and I knowwww HBCU homecoming is not an event you miss on purpose. And he confirmed he's been food tampering and won't say exactly what he's been giving them. I feel so bad for them bc they don't know any better. He's taking advantage of them, ugh!

Finally starting! I was gonna start 3-4 days ago BUT 1) the library pushed me to the front for another book on my TBR, 2) there was a queue forming behind me for a book I was already reading, 3) I had to read 2 other books for 2 upcoming book club meetings, and 4) I have to work, eat, sleep, and have a life 😆

But since it's the weekend and I'm sick, let's see what all the fuss is about!
