The SCHEMES in this damn book, everybody has a damn plan and they do slick shit to get it. Xingyin stronger than me cause I would’ve lashed out and been put in an immortal prison cause I don’t play these games - let me learn something from my girl.

Kay the sea celestials tears turn into pearls like the dragon’s have pearls and Xingyin said they shimmer like the Laurel tree. Ping’er sister said celestials have great power in their tears just like their blood and Xingyin’s mother is powerful but we dont know what her powers are yet…interesting…
Also the oblivion tea and mortals not keeping their memories feels like a setting up for later…

Dude, the political scheming and royalty and the “respect” for the Emperor shit really gets my blood BOILING! Predictions: Found her father but he’s aged and they’re immortal. A peach fruit was mentioned that prolonged life but did not grant immortality. Obviously they’re all worried about the Laurel tree’s healing and rejunivation powers, maybe he ends up with that. “The only way to grant immortality is through the Emperor’s elixir/blessing” or whatever Doaming said. Maybe LieWei gets the throne?
