ok ily jane austen but what was that 😭 i forgot to mention in the last update that this book is different bc she talks directly to the reader and abt the book.
and this chapter ended w her talking abt novels and how ppl dont appreciate them as much as other books or wtv. but it was like jane austen saying it to the reader, not a character mentioning it. idk, maybe it will relate later but it was odd for sure

it’s only the beginning but jane austen manages to make such enjoyable book already.

also the repetitiveness of mrs. allen is alr frying me bro 😭
