I finally agree that this was a needed bridge between the two books. Nesta and the way she is coping with things is breathing some much needed life into the character dynamics... speaking of dynamics I love the difference in how Nest and Elain are handling their trauma. It feels realistic and poetic, none of the three sisters have handled recovery the same.

Wait, I kind of like how this is just like a normal romance novel set in another world. I also like that we are finally getting new characters leading because I felt like the first books were really missing that. Not sure how I feel about going from 1st to 3rd perspective between.
