The relationship between the two main characters is becoming more fun. I’d say having Hoid narrate is less fun than in Tress of the Emerald Sea but still fun. I think it was more fun in Tress because the beginning of Tress didn’t require much world building since it was confined to a tiny island without much magic. Here he has to explain 2 whole worlds. Either way this is fun!
