I am so tired of the bickering and poorly written banter

Also whenever I see the name "Kingfisher" I just imagine the bird

A tiny thing that is pissing me off: why is the author over-using the term "female" when talking about Everlayne? I thought maybe it's because "woman" is a human word that fae don't use but Everlayne says "women" when talking about fae fashion? The writing is super jarring when a simple "she" or "the fae woman" would sound so much better in these sentences

I'm not going to have a good time with this am I
