Why are the last pages harder to read

I think I was right, maybe it was a misunderstanding. These my kinda love story I like to read.

Who died?? A murder?? What!?

The topic of grief and guilt reminds me of Carol. I’m starting to wonder whether Frank and Beth’s relationship is straightened by shared grief than love? I’m also starting to wonder whether the relationship between Beth and Gabriel broke off because of a misunderstanding. I’m so curious, I just want to keep reading. Nearly half way!

I’m not reading as often as I would like but that’s life for you. As for the plot, a bit slow but still enjoying the movie that’s playing in my head.
