Devouring this book, there’s a lot of good advice in here but every once in a while the author strikes a funny chord that I disagree with. She seems to think that everyone who’s a writer is a bit tortured, and that the tortured soul is good fuel for writing? Maybe I’m reading into it, but I totally disagree with that. She could be saying it’s our internal faults that make the work interesting, maybe? Oh well.
