I was never a Game of Thrones fan because I just can’t get enjoyment out of gruesome violence, sexual assault, incest, etc etc. So far, I can tell that’s what this book is going to be. As much as I want to read this for an upcoming book club, I just don’t think I’m going to have the stomach for it. I might read Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi instead.
