That was a good show. It was nice seeing Evangeline run. Lol

Mare is killing me. So she's so majestic that the prince she barely knows will "always choose her" and she thinks that she (a legit pawn here) is somehow in a position to make him go make his father the king mind you kneel in front of the rebels because ... she says it's the right thing to do.

Mare is putting an awful lot of faith in Maven when she knows that he was raised to be the opposite of everything she thinks he is. And she's judging Cal so harshly when he hasn't done anything that she hasn't done.

The great escape. Poor Lucas, drooling on himself.
Evangeline is going to be pissed. Ha!
Kilorn is giving me Gale vibes.

Now how does it look that Cal stayed back to check on her while Maven ran out with his mother. Never mind that Maven knew that the danger was gone. They still have a show to put on for everyone else as an engaged couple.

He'll miss her though.
