Work book; Got to read a bunch since it was slow. Realizing why Nabokov called it the gayest of his novels... Saw a tweet by JCO about the heavy-handedness of his comedy and yeah the 'desired' effect of his situations is v obvious but still effective (except maybe in Invitation to a Beheading [but tbh I read it years ago]). That's him tho! A master Alchemist cultivating Miracle almost as if it was a byproduct
