I’m kinda struggling to care about the people, the lore, and the setting, and I’m wondering if a part of it is because the narrator is ruining the immersion for me with her inflections and voices for the characters. The dialogue is just very… childish? Underwhelming? And the narrator is only amplifying that for me. Definitely not my favorite audiobook so far, but I’m trying to give it a chance!
