Cool paragraph discussing E. Paul Zehr's examination of what it would take, the possibility of a person to become Batman AND continue being Batman. And then why we readers allow ourselves to continue suspending disbelief.

Interesting idea that the most real, the truest, form of Bruce Wayne/Batman, is Batcave Bruce - the person buried beneath the world with only Alfred and Robin.

Well now I will have to read a Teddy Roosevelt biography. The author quotes Christopher Nolan as saying that his key to understanding Bruce Wayne is that he "is Teddy Roosevelt." and then the author provides some T.Roosevelt background I was not previously aware of that proves the validity of this quote.

Chapter 3, "The Trauma," has been interesting.
Chapter 2 identified all the myriad Batmans.
Chapter 1 simply asked a lot of questions (a favorite psychologist trick).
