Got into this believing the one liner hook of “it’s a mix between Midsommar and Alien”. I’ve legit had to look up the author to check if they are ultra right wing because of the fear-mongering of trans people with simultaneous infantilisation and sexual abuse towards the main character. Literally do not understand what this book is getting at right now other than pregnancy is scary?
