I've finally got less than a hundred pages to go with this terrible book 🎉.
Also these chapters are 40 + pages 😭.

Not Vicky and Anthony having secretly had an affair. She's older than Tatiana 😭.

I hate how Alexander is always telling Tatiana not to work because all he wants her to do is to look after their son and have more of his babies. This isn't even one of the worst things he's done in The summer garden.

This is a hate read at this point. I'm only continuing it to finish the trilogy.
Tatiana and Alexander need to get a divorce. There's no way I can believe in their love again.

I hate this book and I'm still not even close to halfway 😭.

I feel like Alexander doesn't love Tatiana anymore. All he wants to do is have sex with her (which he does very often).
Where is the Alexander of books 1 and 2 who while being attracted to Tatiana loved her as a person and didn't treat her like an object? Also I don't know how they are having so much sex when their young child is always nearby. How does he not hear anything?

This book did not to exist. There could have been a short epilogue about what happened in Tatiana and Alexander's lives after the second world war in book 2. I understand that Paulina Simons wanted to convey could PTSD on both sides can cause serious problems in a marriage but a whole book on this topic is not necessary.

This is fine but it is very repetitive. Tatiana and Alexander keep moving from place to place with their son Anthony while they are having problems in their marriage due to their PTSD.

😭💔 This book is set after World War II but somehow it is sadder than the previous two books in the trilogy.
Alexander and Tatiana both have severe PTSD from their horrific experiences in the war.

There's a character with my little brother's name and a character with my dad's name lol.
