as i continue reading down the chapter, the situation just gets worse and worse omg................

I also like the fact that we're not introduced to the MMC from the get-go, and instead learning more about our FMC Lyra and how she struggles with her situation 🥺

I think I've been reading more complex writing styles recently and my brain got used to their intricacy, so now that this book's writing style is more simple and straightforward, I need to adjust my brain back LOL
