At the end of "Where is the Voice Coming From?" a clown shoots a black man, and drops the gun.

They arrive in Naples and the story comes to a screeching halt.

In "Going to Naples" the ship sails down the coast of Europe.

Throughout most of the story "Kin" I thought the narrator was a man.
Not so much. I guess Welty thought the reader should be able to figure that out on his/her own.

In the story "Kin", a photographer shows up. He concentrates on Uncle Felix and Kate.

In "Circe", Circe and Ulysses meet.
