It doesn't have any military characters or set during WWII, but if you like I have a Christmas short story I could email you. Just thought I'd offer. :)
Wellllll I meaannnnn... my dysto/apoc has war setting + Army + soldier/gangster brotherhood bonds... soooo... :P
