My progress on the Spanish is slow: takes me about 5 minutes a page (translating new words) even on book as accesible as Narnia. I do find that it is easier to learn the language through the fantasy/YA fiction form because less energy is used trying to figure out the plot, or just to comprehend what is happening in the story (a pitfall I’ve found trying to learn the language reading Borges or Marquez, etc).
