I've been reading this book very slowly, treating it more like a series of blog posts than a book. I suppose you could argue that any book of essays could be read this way but I found that this book of Irby's was unique in my inability to read more than 2-3 chapters at a time. She's still wonderfully funny but the humor in this book was also more inconsistent.
