I've had this on my TBR list for ages! The Beauty and the Beast retelling started out great for me, but I'm now finding the Beast a little too vanilla to my tastes. At this point, I'm also smack dab in a sagging middle. With each page I'm considering abandoning this. It almost reminds me of the Merlin TV series, which I enjoyed, but this plot and character development just seem stuck in idle.
