This is long but is really interesting to read about what was wanted versus what happened. And also, I didn't realize that the nationalism of Trump was also present in 2008 - I had only known Palin as the cook-y politician, not as an earlier version of Trump in some ways (yes - that is a broad generalization). Really fascinating so far.
