I'm very excited about the strong launch of "To Whom It May Concern." I've heard from many readers -- adopted or not -- that the adoption plot line gave the story another layer of depth. November is National Adoption Awareness Month. I'd be honored if you considered my YA Fiction as a gift for yourself or someone else.

Early reviews are in:
M. Ryen, English developmental teacher in CA: "Definitely adding it to the classroom library when it comes out in August!"
M. Johnson, adoptee: "Kim has marvelously taken some of those aspects of understanding adoption and woven them into a fantastic coming-of-age adventure that spans cultures, state lines, and…chili!!!"

I'm so excited for the Aug. 8, 2023 release of my first YA Fiction novel.

RELEASE DATE 8/8
"Kim has written a lovely YA story about a teenager setting off across the country to find answers about his adoption. I loved all the compassionate, funny characters he met along the way, and her descriptions of the places he traveled made me want to set off on a road trip. Definitely adding it to the classroom library when it comes out in August!" -- M. Ryen, English Language Development teacher

This work of fiction was inspired by conversations with friends, who like me, were adopted. However, unlike me, the revelation of their adoption was not in a kind and loving way. The shock made many feel betrayed and brought up more questions and confusion.

I wondered how would I feel if that happened to me. My thoughts turned to words which turned into "To Whom It May Concern."
