Noticed fewer edits during this session with only one chapter omitted (Letters: In Hot Pursuit). There was another chapter where a reference to a woman on HRT and Certs mints were curiously removed.
So far nothing has been cut from ‘Social Studies’. Fingers crossed that continues.

Continuing to be VERY disappointed with this publication of ‘The Fran Lebowitz Reader’. Several more chapters have been removed from the ‘Metropolitan Life’ section:

* Manners: Notes on “Trick”
* Science: The Primary Cause of Heterosexuality Among Males in Urban Areas: Yet Another Crackpot Theory, and
* Arts: Not In The Mood Jewelry

Really not impressed with the 2021 edition published by Virago as they have removed or edited some of the original text. In the section ‘Metropolitan Life’ parts of the chapter ‘Manners’ have been removed and the entire section on the ‘First Women’s Bank’ has been completely cut out. Should have bought an original copy instead of this U.K. issued garbage.
