In the opening to this book, the author emphasizes the idea that God is Love, and hence he did not create hell, but a person's choice to turn away from God creates evil. I feel this is a one-dimensional approach the the trinity paradox (That a God cannot be all loving, all powerful, and all knowing). Not only does this complicate several Bible stories, where God creates evil by killing, but also becomes a straw man
