Status Update

Lily Bartlett is 46% done

I think I’m going to have to DNF this. It’s incredibly boring and droll l, not to mention depressing, sexist and antisemitic. I love The Great Gatsby, one of my fav books of all time, but this was nothing of the sort. Just mundane conversations about how hard it is to be married and rich with no action whatsoever. It pains me to think this was modelled off F Scott and Zelda’s early marriage, poor poor Zelda..
