Philippa Ballantine Unfortunately, we don't get up to NYC very much. The Writers Digest was a whistle stop tour. We are going to be visiting New Jersey this year, the Steampunk Worlds Fair in May...

First off, I love your writing style. Now for the question: Which characters in the BotO series was your favourite?
Philippa Ballantine Oh gosh, my favourite to write would be Sorcha. My favourite character I'd like to hang around with...well that would be Merrick!

Another question, sorry to bug you! How would I go about getting some signed bookplates for my BotO books? I love having signed copies of my favourite books and I don't think I'll be able to get a chance to meet you (unless you do a book signing in London, Ontario, Canada!).

Why would anyone move from a virtual paradise - New Zealand - to live in the United States?
Philippa Ballantine Sorry it took so long to answer this! The answer is of course....love. I feel in love with my friend and co-author and decided to move to be with him. However that doesn't mean I don't plan on living back in NZ some day!

Is there no longer a way to listen to the Weather Child podiobook? I was suddenly hit with a burst of nostalgia for it, but it seems to have disappeared off the internets!
Philippa Ballantine Yikes...I'm sorry I didn't answer it earlier! Yes, the book changed when I went back to it, so the podcast version was no longer current. Instead I turned it into an audiobook, read by me but without all the music and sound effects.
