Barbara, I'm sorry, I just saw this question. Since you asked this question, there have been 3 more books out. Damning Firefly, Cougar's Cache and most recently Wolverine Instincts. I am doing the research for the next book right now. I hope to have it out in September. In the meantime, I have a Spotted Pony Casino book coming out in June and the first book from a new cozy series, Merry Merry Merry Murder. Thanks for asking!

I met my husband at an under 21 club. I went with a friend, he was stood up by his friends and went alone. I could envision this happening in a mystery only it's a regular bar. The man's friends stand him up and he hooks up with a young woman. When his buddies try to contact him the next day, he's dead. They of course would feel terrible they didn't make it to the bar. Authorities start looking for the woman. Who do you think killed him? The young woman? His jealous ex? One of the men's friends who had it out for him? This would be an interesting story!

Hi Judy, I just now saw this question. I'm sorry I didn't see it sooner. There was a time when I preferred to write first thing in the morning. But lately, I've had to deal with admin stuff in the morning and find I spend 3-4 hours in the afternoon writing. I have a goal of 2000 words a day. If I get more I'm excited, but I have to get the 2k or I get behind in my writing schedule.

I'm getting Brody: Letters of Fate a Historical western romance formatted to release and starting the next Shandra Higheagle Mystery, Reservation Revenge.

Researching American history and discovering things I didn't know and putting them in books for others to learn the history in an entertaining way. For my mysteries it's piecing together a puzzle that keeps the reader as puzzled as Shandra Higheagle.

I rarely have writer's block. If I'm stuck it's because I've written my characters into a corner. I take a step or two or three back and figure out where the story went off kilter and then fix it.
