Hi Mia!
Yes, there were some issues, thankfully resolved. I have the rights back to a couple of series and I'm in the process of dealing with them in chronological order. Right now, I'm working on getting the Variant Configurations series republished and completed - so that's next. Next on the docket after that will be Mage and the remainder of the Web of Arcana books.
I'm not a fast writer! Everything is rather deliberate and slow, I'm afraid, but I'm hoping in 2022 I can start putting the Mage books back out there.
Thank you! :)

Hi Joshua Anne!
There are four books planned for Arcana - though the series is on hiatus right now while I take care of other things. There were publisher issues to be resolved and so on. I don't have a timeline on it, I'm afraid, but I will get back to it.

Hi Anna!
Oh goodness - this is from years ago. It was Aftermath for a few years and finally "Restoration", but it's been pulled from the shelves for a while now. There just wasn't a lot of interest in it and I write such very different things now.
Bellora Quinn and I ran, for quite some time, the Erotic Spice blog, where we wrote together in that world and Jonathan's story continued. It was really just for us and just for fun, so the storylines ran sort of all over the place and it became a cast of many dozens. Sadly, that blog is no longer online.
I should talk to Bellora about those old stories...

Hi Kristina! Thank you! There are three more planned but when is sort of a tricky question. There are issues that need to be resolved first on the business end, I'm afraid and I apologize, but I don't have a timeline on that yet.

Hi Jyl! I hope so. Seeing translations in German makes me so happy. But this is a decision that's up to the publishers, and not something I have any control over, I'm afraid.
Angel Martinez
Hi!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed that one. It's actually out of print right now, so I'd need to get it re-published somewhere first. And your question caught me a little off guard. Of all the stories I've written, I've never had anyone ask for a follow-up to this one. :)
Which, hooray, you liked it that much, but I'd not considered it sequel material. Hmm. Perhaps some day.

Hi Michelle!
No real updates at this time except that one is planned. Maybe this year will be a calmer year for me and the family!

Hi Jaimes!
The short answer is - possibly. I love those characters and that universe, but they were designed as a complete series arc. For now, the story is complete, but if another series arc occurs to me, I'll be coming back to them. :)

Hi Aryatan! Thank you so much - Bellora and I are so happy that readers have enjoyed the series. We do want to get back to it - there are plans. Outlines. First stabs at opening scenes. But both of us have had hectic writing schedules lately and we haven't quite gotten to the place where we're both free to work on it.
We do hope to, though. :)

Hi Lyra!
Feral Dust Bunnies is included in the paperback "Offbeat Crimes Volume 2" available at Pride Publishing, Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
The first four books weren't long enough to have their own paperbacks, so the publisher combined books 1 & 2 in the first paperback, and 3 & 4 in the second.
It's out there - promise! :)

Hi Sherry! Sorry it took me so long to see this. Yes, we're hoping to get back to AURA this year, Bellora and I. :)

Hi OkayKim!
Brandywine Investigations is available currently - though the fourth story is waiting while I finish the fifth. When Amber Quill went out of business, Mischief Corner Books picked up Brandywine. The first three stories are available in an omnibus edition - Brandywine Investigations: Open For Business. (Available at the publisher and all the usual online retailers.)
The Endangered Fae series I just got back from the publisher when the contract expired. I haven't decided what to do with those yet, but they'll probably be coming back out sometimes next year.

Ooof. Not quite yet. My writing calendar got a little complicated this year with the contracted Offbeat Crimes books. I have NOT forgotten about Damien and Blaze and Shudder, though.

Hi Lindsey!
Yes, that's the series I've been concentrating on this year. I promised the publisher they would have six books by the end of 2017 - we're almost there!
The next book, #5, is Jackalopes & Woofen-Poofs, which goes up for pre-order on August 22 and then for early download at Pride on September 5. I'm currently working on Book #6, All The World's An Undead Stage, which will be out late October/ November as long as I don't completely blow past the deadline. :)

Hi Ann!
Eek - so sorry it took a bit to see this question. I'd like to re-release it some day but it's unfortunately pretty far back in the priority queue right now. It's a story I very much enjoyed writing but it had some issues and never sold well. Some day, though. I don't want it to simply gather dust in the story closet.

Hi Michelle!
Thank you so much for reading and I'm so pleased you enjoyed it :)
Oof. The perennial question. Short answer? Yes. I do have plans. There are, indeed, plans. They keep being derailed by Other Things, but there are plans. I'm clearing up some obligations this year with other series. Fingers crossed that I can finally get back to it.
The plan is that the sequel will be Logan's story (the kid from the end of the book) and probably won't be what people expect. Maybe.

Hi Susan!
Thank you for asking about the prodigal Brandywine Investigations book. The short answer right now is that you can't.
All the Brandywine books were pulled from the market when Amber Quill Press closed shop. They were quickly picked up by Mischief Corner Books with a few stipulations since they would be reissues"
1. The existing stories needed to be expanded. (One at least was quite short.)
2. Stories would be reissued in omnibus editions - so Brandywine 1-3 were expanded and re-released in a single omnibus volume.
3. There would be a new story to go with #4 in a second omnibus edition.
So, here's where we are. Books, Bulls, and Bacchanals is waiting until I can finish Brandywine #5 (Pack Up The Moon.) Good news? I'm about 30K in - probably a little more than halfway through. Bad news? I keep being interrupted by other deadline obligations.
This is probably way, way more than you wanted to know. Long story short, I'm shooting for this summer to get BB&B back out in its new edition with its new companion story (which will be Charon's story, by the way.)

So very very many favorite couples... If I have to pick one, I'd say Pyanfar Chanur and Khym Mahn from CJ Cherryh's Chanur series. They're not even human.
I love them because they defy the deeply ingrained stereotypes of their homeworld, overcoming centuries of cultural conditioning and eventually changing societal norms. Their relationship isn't traditional to begin with (for their species) and events lead them to ignore all of the ways in which they are supposed to reject one another.

Ack! We can't have you heartbroken! Sub Zero, unfortunately, got caught in the tangle that is my writing schedule. The lovely publishers who agreed to take all of my homeless books from the Amber Quill closure (and there were quite a few) wanted rewrites and expansions on them and both publishers, Pride and Mischief Corner, took a series each with promises for more stories in those series.
These things consumed most of my 2016.
I desperately need to get some new releases out this year - and so far have managed to work diligently at this - and my writing calendar is rather packed with promises. I have not forgotten Sub Zero, however. Again, the publisher would like some expansion and I have to find some time in the schedule to do this. Fingers crossed for this summer. I think it will be then.

Hi KB! I'm so sorry - I seem to have missed this question along the way. Yes, you are so very correct, Carrington's book is next, working on it as we speak, titled "Skim Blood and Savage Verse."
