Rob Guy Hi Sam
Great to hear from you.
I wrote The Lanthanians over 3 years ago, however it is currently unavailable. If you wish I can email you a pdf copy for you to read, (no charge by the way!) I am very flattered that you took the time to read it. I left the copy on the Sea Princess around February 2014.
Thank you once again for your enquiry. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
My best wishes
Rob Guy
Rob Guy Lots of coffee! But seriously, I just write something, anything, even if it's a shopping list. You can always add some of your character's favourite food to it. Inspiration has an uncanny knack of giving you the nudge just when you need it.
Rob Guy Deciding where your characters are going on any particular day. Sometimes I set out with a clear intention about what is going to happen but the story can suddenly take on a life of its own. Writing about Harry Watt is a blast. He'll make you laugh, he'll make you cry. And seeing the finished article, to know that you have created it, achieved your goal, there's no greater feeling, other than being in love of course!
Rob Guy Never give up. I have many tattered manuscripts lying around. For a time I stopped, but the belief that I could write, that I wanted to write, never left me. Have the passion, keep the faith, you'll get there.
Rob Guy Currently working on Harry Watt's second adventure. It leads directly on from the first. I hope to have it ready by the end of the year.
Rob Guy Inspiration can come at any time and in any given situation. I carry a journal and before I started blogging I would write down ideas. Sometimes I can go for days without getting much down, then on other days I can't get it written down quick enough! If you have a passion for something, be it writing or whatever, you'll find the inspiration.
Rob Guy I've wanted for some time to create a character that I can develop over many books. Harry Watt will certainly be having a lot of adventures. I am very excited to writing about him, although I'm never certain where he's going to end up or what trouble he'll get into!
