I go away, make space, mull over what I'm trying to communicate and (being as my material is derived from the Bible) pray - which I hope is allowed in these circles!

I've found that when I start on some material I'm never certain as to how it will end! This is probably why I will never write fiction!! So writing is something of an adventure (of faith) and an opportunity for inspiration - which has to be God as it's certainly not me!!

Partly by the drive to help other people find the Bible to be relevant, and partly in using words as a vehicle to stimulate thought 'outside the box'. Undergirding this would be for readers to pursue a journey of faith in God.
