Oddly enough, I just went through this for the very first time. After a terrible car accident, my husband's job loss, and some health issues of my own added to the usual struggle in publishing many serious authors understand, I fell into a terrible depression and was "this close" to giving up on my writing. A cyber friend sent me a few things she'd found on the web that spoke volumes to me and helped me shake my bad frame of mind. Now I'm busy writing my next novel.

During this summer (2017) I'm concentrating on a new genre. It's contemporary romantic suspense that's H.O.T. with a couple shocking twists. The plan is to have the semi-rough draft turned in to my literary agent for her opinion before I return to school by the end of August (crosses fingers).

Anything can inspire me. Sometimes it's a song, a scene, hearing a conversation at a restaurant, or a movie can really get my creative juices going.

Actually, this would cover my last three books since they're the first three novels in The Werewolves of Rebellion. My publisher at Riverdale Avenue Books approached me about writing an MC romance series involving werewolves and the idea really appealed to me. Now, three books later, I've grown quite attached to the regular characters and their world.
