From the books I've written? It's usually the couple I'm currently writing about...but I'd say the story that hit me the hardest emotionally was Tina and Leif in "Tina Tracks a Trail Boss. The happiest couple to write was Cate and Isaac in "Cate Corrals a Cattleman".
