Hi Milian
I’m starting to write the last two parts this month and hope to have them out next year (2018). I believe that the end of part four is not a cliff hanger but a good place to start the finale. Thank you for buying the series. I understand where you are coming from with regard to reading Series. Best wishes Donna

Why does there have to be one? It's so not fair. So I must cheat.

Wow. What a loaded question. Umm because is that the most recent book I've written, or the most recent book published or the one I'm working on? As Shatterwing and Skywatcher (Dragonwine) are coming out in September and October 2014 I suppose I can talk about them. I owned a vineyard and the early parts of Shatterwing were dreamed up while working on the vines. The idea for Nils of Barr, one of the characters, came from an idea at a workshop delivered by Trudi Canavan and the idea for the moons was something that popped into my head years ago when I hung out on the Harper Collins' Voyager Purple Zone. So the short answer is from many places.

I'm not sure actually. I've always had an active imagination and after bottling it up for years and years, it just bubbles out of me. I'm not exactly saying I need to write to stay sane but...

I'm always working on a couple of things. At the moment I'm revising a paranormal romance I've been working on and I'm supposed to be drafting one too. I'm doing research for the sequel to Ruby Heart (while here in the UK) and dealing with proofs etc for Dragonwine series.

Write, write, write and read, read and read. As you age, use a notebook for those ideas. There's nothing worse than the lost idea. Also write what you're passionate about. Have fun.

The best thing for me is playing around with stories and characters in my head. It legitimises the incredible amount of daydreaming I did through most of my life, particularly when escaping bad situations.

Not well. But if I'm really blocked I force myself to write at least one sentence and then I find I've written a paragraph. I try not to beat myself up either and go looking for some inspiration. If it's really bad, I'll watch 6 hours of Pride and Prejudice.
