If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Marcia Fine I love French history so I think I would go back to the setting of Elizabeth Berg's DREAM LOVER. George Sand was an amazing woman and met the best of society at the time. Hearing Chopin play etudes in your living room would send me top!

Hi Marcia, I am reading your book, Hidden Ones. I'm enjoying it very much. I purchased it after seeing the ad with Hadassah. I was drawn to your book because I am writing a book right now and the Inquisition is part of the story. This is my second book. I'm considering advertising my first book, The Lucky One, in the Hadassah magazine. I was wondering if you found it successful? I'm on Goodreads too.

I hope my book about this tough topic still entertains. It's a forgotten piece of Jewish and Mexican history.
I have advertised before with Hadassah. It's mainly to announce my book is ready. I have not seen a big spike in sales because of it. Marketing involves more than an ad. I speak to promote my books. I wish you luck with your book. Get people to write reviews! That's a key to success. XXXMarcia

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Marcia Fine Affinity by Sarah Waters is next. Just finished McClain's Circling the Sun. Loved Tilar Mazzeo's Hotel on Place Vendome so I can't wait to read The Widow Clicquot.
May go back to some classics like Steinbeck.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Marcia Fine I'd like to know more about the past, relatives who migrated, why some ran away. A great-grandmother disappeared in France before WWII and another fled in the United States in the 1930s. A family mystery!

Marcia Fine My favorite fictional characters are Rhett and Scarlett. What a relationship!
