Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Helen Hoffner My mother has been collecting rosaries since she was a child. When I searched libraries and stores I found that there were many excellent rosary prayer books but no books to describe the many variations of the rosary. My mother and I used the research that she had accumulated to write The Rosary Collector's Guide so that others could learn to identify many styles of rosaries, crosses, crucifixes, and medals.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Helen Hoffner Don't be afraid to submit your work to a magazine or book publisher. Pick up your favorite book or magazine and check to see who published it. Then go to the publisher's website and look for their submission guidelines. You will find the information you need to begin your journey.
