I read, go for long walks, pray, play violin, and do housework. The ideas eventually work themselves if I simply get on with life. Other times, I edit. That seems to help the brain get into gear. And there are moments when I have to force myself to write something, even if it's only a sentence.

I'm currently working on the sequel to 'A Distant Prospect'. It's a trilogy entitled 'In the Hearts of Kings'. The first volume, 'By Violence Unavenged', should be finished by 2018.
