Thad Brown Alas, John, I'm not on Facebook (and don't want to be!). Goodreads is the only social media I take part in. But I really appreciate your friendship here!
Thad Brown I don't really think I could narrow my choices down to just one fictional world! There are so many that would be absolutely fascinating to travel to and live in.
Thad Brown Since I usually post all of my specific information about my reading under my real name, I don't discuss it much under this pen name. But I can say that I'm planning to read a book by one of my Goodreads friends, and to take part in a group read in one of my groups.
Thad Brown To be honest, I don't think that there are any mysteries in my life that would lend themselves to that sort of thing. Despite the kind of fiction I write, I actually lead a pretty quiet, straightforward and uneventful life. (Maybe that's the reason why I write this kind of fiction....)
Thad Brown That's a really hard question to answer, because every fictional couple is unique, just as the two individuals who comprise it are unique, and that makes them difficult to compare and "rate." Being something of a romantic at heart, I've tended to like and root for every fictional couple I've read about, and wished them their HEA. I suppose the truest answer would be that I don't have a single favorite --or maybe that my favorite couple is whichever one I happen to be currently reading about!
Thad Brown Good question! "Thad and the G-Man's Excellent Adventure" was a collaboration, jointly written with Giovanni Gelati of Trestle Press, back in the days when they were publishing my work (I'm with Pro Se Press now). So it took longer to write than a single story would; I'd write my segment and send it to him, then wait for him to send his next segment back, and so on. But as I recall, the whole process probably took less than a couple of weeks.

Like the individual stories from The Smoking Gun Sisterhood collection that Goodreads lists as free-standing e-stories, this one isn't available any longer for purchase. That's because Trestle Press no longer has publication rights to my work (and I haven't asked Giovanni's permission, as co-author, to publish it elsewhere).
Thad Brown Hearing from a reader who liked something that you wrote has to be one of the most rewarding aspects of a writer's career; it's wonderful to be able to connect with someone that way, to entertain and maybe even plant some seeds of thought.
Thad Brown At the moment, I'm not actually working on anything in the writing line. But a new short story, "Hot Sun, Hot Lead," has been accepted for publication by Pro Se Press for their Single Shots e-story line, so hopefully that will be released before long.
Thad Brown I guess I'm a pretty visual person, because most of my story ideas have come from pictures I've seen.
Thad Brown I've only written one book, a collection of "girls-with-guns" short stories (the other listings on Goodreads are mostly just for individual stories from that collection.) An Internet friend of mine draws GWG art as a hobby, and shared some of his work with me back in 2007. His explanation of the premise of one picture suggested the story "The Capta and the Cop;" he liked that one a lot, so I wrote some more based on his drawings, just to share with him. Then I got the idea of trying to publish them, and that's how the book got its start.
Thad Brown I haven't been writing long enough to run into it yet!
Thad Brown I'm pretty much an aspiring author myself, so I'm hoping for someone to give ME advice!
