How do you deal with Christians who are resistant to EFT? I am not a Christian, but I have met people who seem afraid to take responsibility for their own wellbeing and development. How do you address this? I would love to speak with you and perhaps do an author interview. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
Sherrie Rice Smith Most of the unbelief can simply be addressed by explaining that EFT is all physiology the way God created us. I use Scripture to address their concerns, too. Too many Christians figure is something has Chinese medicine in it, it follows that some Chinese religious belief must be mixed in there, too, which isn't at all true.

Many universities are now doing amazing amounts of neuro research, as you know, and I try to keep up on that as much as possible, and use it in my new articles, blogs, and upcoming books, as well as incorporate it into my EFT classes.

You & I know people heal when they are ready to heal. If they are satisfied to be where they are, afraid to think outside the box, try something new, we can pretty much guarantee not much is going to happen!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Sherrie Rice Smith The idea for the EFT for Christians book came after my younger brother died of leukemia and I was went looking for something to relieve the grief.

God handed me EFT. I would have not taken a second look at it had it not been for Bill's death.

Once I tried it, I was hooked and off I went to classes, realizing there was a way to do EFT in a God pleasing and God honoring way.

The book idea was born!

How do you get inspired to write?
Sherrie Rice Smith As a Christian, God inspires me to write. I tend to wait for His timing and His place. It comes so much easier when He is the motivator!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Sherrie Rice Smith Advice for those who want to write? Write, write, write about anything and everything. Practice makes perfect! And never give up that dream!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Sherrie Rice Smith I enjoy researching new ideas and figuring out how best to use them throughout life.

When writing I just write about what I know best, many times topics I've read extensively about and can put into common words useful to as many people as possible.

Sherrie Rice Smith If writer's block hits, I tend to use the technique I write about - EFT!

EFT is one of the greatest and best modalities for unblocking author's creativity!

It rarely takes longer than a few hours and I'm back to work!

What are you currently working on?
Sherrie Rice Smith Because Christians using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)is a pretty new idea, I plan to continue forward writing more books on the "how to" use it within the context of Scripture and prayer.

EFT for Christians is more than just tapping prior to the beginning of a tapping session.
