This is tough, because I love so many characters. Off the top of my head, I think it would be Simon and Daphne from The Duke and I by Julia Quinn. I love their dynamic - so many complicated feelings in two remarkable characters.

It depends on my mood. A song or a dream can set my mind in motion for a story. Sometimes I just have a feeling or emotion that puts me in the mood to write.

I have some strange, vivid dreams. Often that is where my ideas start, then I develop them from there. The book I'm currently working on started as a snippet of a dream. When I woke up that was the only part I could really remember and I thought it'd make a great story.
