Hi,
The first answer that came to mind, is the world that Jane Austen created (which was based on the world that she knew, of course). But for one night, I'd love to dress in one of those beautiful regency ball gowns, and dance at a ball. Naturally, my partner would be tall, handsome and brooding...otherwise, where would the fun be? ;)

I keep busy. I walk, read, see friends, clean my house, cook. And I might scribble down a few notes. I know that ideas are swimming around like soup in my head. And when it clears, I'll have them!

Hmm, making things up, I suppose! That seems obvious, but I get to create characters and situations, that didn't exist before hand. And then, at least on paper, or in digital format, they do....

I had worked as a journalist for national newspapers, and I had also written short stories. It always felt more normal to write, than not to write! But I decided to become serious about writing a novel after I won a national short story competition.

My inspiration for Going Against Type, was an old Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracey movie, Woman of the Year.
