Jonathan Bryant Just keep writing, my friends. I still have my very first 'book'. It is only two pages in length, and it is terrible. But I kept writing. Years and years later, I am very confident in my abilities, and I know that if you really want to do this, you CAN do this! Persevere, ladies and gents. Instead of being discouraged by a critic, use that criticism to push you to better your writing skills, and never give up! You CAN do this! All you have to do is write! (Reading is very important as well. Read enthusiastically, especially in the particular genre in which you desire to write!)
Jonathan Bryant Anything is possible. You feel like the world is at your fingertips! There are literally endless possibilities, and all you have to do is write.
Jonathan Bryant Most of the time, I just work through the writer's block. Even if I only write a paragraph or two, I've written something. I've realized that most of the time, this practice helps to break through writer's block. Usually, the next day I can write much easier, and the writer's block is gone. If this doesn't work, however, I usually do something else and then try to come back to my manuscript a while later.
Jonathan Bryant I am currently writing the second book in 'The Ringbearer's Trilogy' entitled 'Ringbearer's Rescue'. This will be the greatly anticipated sequel to 'Relentless'!
Jonathan Bryant The idea for 'Relentless' came to me after experiencing a dream in which I was being chased through concrete passageways by some man wanting to kill me. I awoke from the nightmare (I actually enjoy a nightmare every now and then! It gives me inspiration!) and began to build upon the story. I added characters, tweaked things up a bit, workd on the plot, and eventually, I had conjured up the story that would years later be called 'Relentless'!
