Jen Winters Haha, I bet your guess is off a bit. My major was Biblical Text. I got my BA of Arts from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. I pursued an MA in Old Testament, but bended up preggers and unable to complete it. I had thought about going back for a second degree in linguistics and getting an MA in linguistics as well. For my undergrad and graduate degrees I studied Greek, Latin, Hebrew, Ugaritic, and German.
Jen Winters While I do appreciate that you are trying to sell a book with that pitch, from what I've read, you have written a romance from the male perspective, which is actually quite common among romances. Even introverts are common personalities among romance authors. I, myself, am currently writing an all-male perspective romance.

Your pitch makes it sound like you decided to write romance without actually reading any. And while I am more than happy to have a look at your book for review, it would have to be pretty magical to gets me past the disappointment I am feeling about your pitch and the confusion I experienced while reading the blurb.
Jen Winters Love it, but I haven't finished yet, so I haven't gotten the review really done. I will post it as soon as I do, though!

Haha! I answered this when I guest blogged for Adam Croft!
Jen Winters The second book in the Guardian novels: Falling Angels follows the life of Ambrose, one of the Fallen. He's bitter, sarcastic, and acerbic in every way, but Lavinia will tame him if it's the last thing she does.
Jen Winters Read. A lot.
Hire an editor. If you need a rec talk to your favorite authors. My editor had a payment plan for me that worked on a sickeningly small budget.
Jen Winters Three things I can think of that are the best about being a writer:
1. My job is to escape into my own little world.
2. Reader feedback is like Christmas morning every time. Good or bad, someone read my book!
3. That moment when I suddenly know exactly what I am about to do and I'm so excited that I just have to share with someone--anyone.

I answered this question on my blog several weeks ago.
Jen Winters Favorite thing about being a writer? Hard to say. I love creating in general, but my favourite moments that come with that are the OMG-!-I-have-the-best-idea-! moments that come during the creative process. I get so excited I usually have to share them. I'm glad my friends and fans don't mind spoilers!
Jen Winters I spend a lot of time in irreligious conversations with my father, who takes every opportunity to misinterpret scripture he can get. He has influenced my writing and especially the world of the Guardians.
