Kat Crimson Hi Lisa - I definitely plan to write a fourth novella (hopefully a bit longer length than the last installment), but my major focus right now is on getting book 2 of my Hardwood's Harlots series out.

I'm hoping to complete writing of 'Dot Matrix: Mistress of the Stage' by Halloween, so I can have the edits done, cover made and all of my marketing in line for release before the Holidays.

The first order of business after that is to go back to writing the Best Friends to Lovers series!
Kat Crimson Good question J. Ellyne - for me it boils down to the fact that I only write about the fantasies that interest me personally. I won't say that I'll never write anything that includes MFF, but it's not a personal turn on, so it's more difficult for me to get into the writing groove.
Kat Crimson Hi Lola8,
unfortunately, at this time, my books are only offered for sale through Amazon. I do believe they have apps available for download which allow you to read on your computer, or even your smartphone, if you do not have a kindle. Hopefully, with the release of book two in my Hardwood's Harlots series (sometime next year), we will be looking at expanding availability for purchase to other venues and formats.
Kat Crimson I let it come to me. I keep myself open to finding inspiration in anything I do, whether it's listening to music, watching a movie, observing people, seeing or reading about an interesting story, or just meditating on my own experiences - it all has the potential to become inspiration. If something excites or interests me, there have to be other people out there who will also be inspired or interested - as long as I can get it out to them in a way that does it justice :D
Kat Crimson Writing is such an amazing creative outlet. It can be an escape and a unique way to get your message out to people, whatever your message may be. It's also a very flexible profession in that you can write from just about anywhere you are in the world. That's neat.
Kat Crimson Love to write and write what you love, put yourself out there, make friends with other authors in your genre and help each other to promote and review. Believe in yourself and don't give up. ^,,^
Kat Crimson The book I'm writing at the moment (my first full-length novel), Jizziebelle, began with a writing contest. That writing contest began with an image.

We were tasked to write a 3,000 - 10,000 word erotic story that contained the scene from the image that Black Widow Publications provided with the contest.

After I won the contest, I was signed and given the option to have my story included in a compilation, or to rework the entire thing and turn it into a novel - I chose the latter.

Jizziebelle (fingers crossed) is due out this April.
Kat Crimson Usually, the reason why I have writer's block is a) I've reached a point in the story where I am unsure of how to proceed, or b) something I've written previously isn't sitting quite right with me and I'm not yet sure how to fix it.

So I keep the story in the back of my head while I go on to do other things and wait for the answer to come to me.

Sometimes staring at things head on is the worst thing that I can do - the saying 'a watched pot never boils' is obviously not true, but it's going to boil whether or not you're looking at it, so why not go and do something else more productive while you wait?

Sometimes I just need to shift my focus and let the problem work itself out in the background, then go and put it on paper (lol..or a computer screen) when it does. I don't try to force it.
Kat Crimson I am currently engaged in turning my contest winning erotica short Jizziebelle into my first full-length novel, due out in April. :D

Jizziebelle is the story of Jocelyn Belle, a kinky introvert who explores her taboos through her writing career and satisfies her urges via cyber trysts.

Suffering from severe social anxiety and depression, she makes a life altering change when she courageously takes a part time job as a burlesque dancer at Hardwood's Burlesque. She meets a host of amazing and supportive character's at her new job who gradually help her face and tackle some of her crippling issues.

One such character is Ryan Mastersen, a financial backer for the burlesque, a fan of her writing, and - bar none - the most magically delicious man she's ever laid eyes upon. Will Jizzie finally get to explore her deepest fantasies in the flesh?

Coming to Amazon this April!
