I would be a How I Met Your Mother plot, obviously changed to DAD. Which I would have to say finding the soul mate is always a good mystery.....

The first thing that came to my mind was Romeo and Juliet, but I think that's because I liked Shakespeare when I was in Jr. High. So my mind went back to my earliest recollection. But some of my favorites are. Wesley and Buttercup, Mr. Darcy and Elisabeth Bennett, Inman and Ada Monroe. There are so many good ones it's hard to choose, but those are the forefront on my mind. What are YOURS?

I stop writing and do something mundane (like sweeping the floor or doing the dishes). Or I take a bath and play music. I have a lot of conversations with the characters in my book and figure out their motives, which usually drive the story. (In other words, I talk to myself a lot, but not out loud)

The things I get to create! I have never enjoyed anything as much as becoming an author (besides being a mom and wife) and I feel like I can't keep up with myself and my ideas.

Write, write, write. Get that first book under your belt and done with. Learn your process and write, write, write. Join a writers group and get critiqued. Don't be defensive.

This is a loaded question. I am working on book 4 of the series and another mini book involving an event that happens in book 4. I also have in the brain works another mini book that will come out with book 4 as well. So that's book 4 and 2 mini's.

It is usually the idea that inspires me. I don't automatically start writing, but I let my ideas fester and grow for weeks. If it sticks around then I will pound it out. Music also is very inspiring for me. I am not a natural "feeler", but music makes me feel.

There is a really cool character in my third book of this series that will be coming out soon. He was so awesome, I just knew he needed his own mini book. This idea has given me so many more ideas to fill in the edges of this amazing series and all the deep characters inside. Beldagar is a great little book with a fresh fantasy view.
