Emma Henderson All the books on my summer reading list this year are connected with my next novel. I will be reading a lot of novels set in and non-fiction about Germany, both before, during and after the second world war. I will also be re-reading many John le Carre novels - with the excuse that they are research, but also simply because I love them.
Emma Henderson I don't. I can't. It's terrible. For me, there is no way of dealing with it. I just have to wait it out. I try to read, but all too often, for me, reader's block goes hand in hand with writer's block.
