Jackie Forster I never plan a reading list. There is no way I can ever know what I will be in the mood to read. My shelves are filled with hundreds of books from all different genres. I choose whichever book takes my intrest at the time. If I can find something there... There's always kindle!
Jackie Forster Eddie and Susannah from Stephen King's dark tower series. Their journey is difficult. Eddie does all he can to help Susannah as she blends her split personality. The hardships this couple face could have torn them apart yet against all odds they find a kind of peace together.
Jackie Forster Many, many things! I very rarely work on one project! Currently, I have three novels on the go along with two more poetry books and something for the card crafters.
Jackie Forster That is a tough question. There are many days when nothing comes to mind and I sit at the computer trying not to check my facebook and twitter feeds. I generally find that going for a walk or spending time with my children relaxes me and I am able to forget anything that is bothering me. By clearing my mind I am better able to concentrate on what I am trying to write. If that doesn't work I reread the last few pages that I wrote. Sometime I just call for my mum and she helps me fix whatever is wrong!
Jackie Forster Being my own boss. I love working for myself and not have to justify myself to anyone else. However, this is also a bad thing as I am a slave driver. I sometimes work 60+ hours a week. Working through the night is common, but the thrill of seeing that someone has bought one of my books compensates for everything.
Jackie Forster Write! Read, read and read some more. If you want to write, just do it! Only you can stop you from being a writer. It doesn't matter if what you start with is terrible. the more you write the better you will get!
Jackie Forster My teacher in school encouraged me to read and we discussed all kinds of books. Whenever He set essays I was thrilled. He encouraged me but nothing came of it until I started a bedtime story for my eldest son. Now anything can inspire me! A simple conversation or I fight with my teenage son. Everything in life can give inspiration if you look for it!
Jackie Forster That depends! The last book I published was a collection of poetry that I wrote while watching people and just living life. I am however working on three other stories just now. One started with a conversation with my mother, another is a prequel to Cassy and the third is the next story in Danny's adventures.
