When I was in elementary school, my fifth grade teacher challenged us to write a different story every week (for extra credit) and read it to the entire class on Friday. Only two of us accepted the challenge. But I was hooked and have been writing ever since.

I've also started plotting two more Beyond Fairytale stories. Re-writing a fairytale is very challenging because I have to twist the plot to make it new and exciting.
